Well, here we go...I have always wanted to start a blog, but I just didn't know where to start. I found starting a blog really simple. I just followed the directions given on the website. I know many people new to technology struggle with trying anything new. But, I say, "DON'T!" A lot of the new pieces of technology I have learned to use are through trial and error. I try something, if it doesn't work, I try something else. I have heard many people express they are afraid to break something when trying something new, but almost everything can be fixed.
I think blogs are a great reflection tool for anyone. I used to keep a journal when I began my first couple of years teaching. I would reflect over how certain lessons progressed and what changes to make for the future. I reflected over my coaching endeavors as well. Recently, I found these journals and read my thoughts. It was funny to see the problems I encountered in the past and to see how I have grown as a teacher.
I guess I will see where this blog takes me, but for now I am just glad I learned how to start a blog! :)
Yea! Your first task completed!
